STORY

Pop-Up Performances is a program invoking spontaneous limited time arts engagements across Stanford University campus. Inspired by the likes of Improv Everywhere and Random Acts of Culture, the program seeks to engage the greater Stanford community in the arts when they otherwise may not have seemed accessible and serves as an awareness campaign of sorts to cultivate interest in the arts.

OBJECTIVE

Create a portable banner that can easily be carried around Stanford campus, serving as a marker and backdrop for various Pop-Up Performances events.

RESULT

We wanted to design something eye-catching and appealing/trendy to our student audience. As such we avoided the traditional academic colors of Stanford University )reds/beiges) The word mark simulates light up neon piping against a dark background to make the presentation convincing and “pop”
